LumenLabel licence terms (EULA)
The terms under which you use LumenLabel.
Last updated
1. Who
LumenLabel is made and sold by Uniqoeleur, trading as LumenLabel, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 81458169, the Netherlands. Questions: support@lumenlabel.io.
2. What you buy
You buy a licence to use LumenLabel, not the software itself. The licence is personal and not transferable.
3. Which computers
One licence covers two computers at the same time, Mac or Windows. To switch computers, unlink the old one in the app and activate the new one.
4. Trial
You can try the full app free for 7 days with your own printer, cable and labels. After that, printing needs a licence.
5. Payment and refunds
Payment is handled by Polar, our reseller; their buyer terms also apply, including their refund rules. Because you can try LumenLabel free first, we do not refund a purchase once the licence key has been activated. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Updates
Your purchase includes all updates of version 1 (including the current 0.x versions). Version 1 keeps working, also if a version 2 is ever released; that may be offered separately. We are not obliged to release updates.
7. What is not allowed
Reselling, renting or sharing the licence; circumventing the licence check; decompiling or copying the software, except as far as the law allows.
8. Printers
LumenLabel talks directly to printers made by other companies. We do our best to support them, but cannot promise that every printer or every feature works. That is what the trial is for.
9. Privacy
Your designs, spreadsheets and PDFs stay on your computer. Activation and licence checks send your licence key and an anonymous device label to our licensing partner Polar. See the privacy policy for details.
10. Liability
LumenLabel is provided as is. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence, except in case of intent or gross negligence.
11. Ending
If you do not follow these terms, we may revoke the licence.
12. Law
Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the country where you live.
